More and more families are discovering the joys of cruising, as onboard cruises often feature kids’ clubs, pools, and endless leisure activities. Parents can relax while the kids play and have fun. Another advantage is that you only pack once and see many places. Of course, there are also disadvantages: cabins are smaller, extras can be expensive, and you have to keep a close eye on the children. Ocean-going ships offer plenty of entertainment but are often more crowded. River cruises are quieter, more manageable, and closer to the cities.
