Allein nach New Orleans: 4 Tage zwischen Jazz, Beignets und „The Originals”

New Orleans stand schon lange auf meiner Liste. Diese ganz besondere Mischung aus Südstaaten-Flair, Jazz, Blues, Voodoo, französischer Architektur und einer gehörigen Portion „ein bisschen anders als der Rest der USA“ hat mich schon immer neugierig gemacht. Und so startete meine große USA-Reise diesmal mit einem kleinen Abenteuer: vier Tage New Orleans – ganz allein.
Danach ging es für mich weiter nach Texas, wo ich meine Tochter während ihres Austauschjahres besuchen wollte. Aber bevor ich mich für neun Tage ins texanische Abenteuer stürzte, hieß es erst einmal: Laissez les bons temps rouler! Aber lest selbst!
